AffiliateCon Sofia Postponed Until 2021 Due to COVID-19

The third yearly AffiliateCon Sofia, initially planned for May 12-13 in Sofia, Bulgaria, has been deferred until 2021 because of the COVID-19 outbreak. The function will now occur on the corresponding dates in 2021.

The choice to delay was reached after Bulgaria proclaimed a national emergency the previous Friday in reaction to the worldwide virus proliferation. The emergency status is projected to remain until April. Numerous gaming and affiliate marketing firms have also enforced travel restrictions for their staff, influencing the organization of AffiliateCon Sofia.

AffiliateCon creator Julian Perry stated that this year’s gathering was on track to be the largest ever, with many companies already pledged and numerous affiliates enrolled.

“Considering the present circumstances with the COVID-19 pandemic, now designated a global pandemic, we were left with no alternative but to reschedule the event,” Perry remarked.

Despite the postponement, the AffiliateCon group is dedicated to furnishing affiliates with digital material. Several speakers slated to present at the in-person event will now deliver their presentations virtually. The AffiliateCon online conference will transpire on May 12, 2020. Further information will be disseminated shortly.

The AffiliateCon team expresses regret for any disruptions this may generate and is devoted to making the following year’s event even grander and more impressive.
