Global Amusement Defends Founder Kazuo Okada Following Hong Kong Arrest

Global Amusement released a declaration concerning the current apprehension of its originator, Kazuo Okada, in Hong Kong. The organization intends to clarify the situation and safeguard Okada’s standing.

They underscore that apprehension in Hong Kong doesn’t hold the same significance as in other legal systems, implying that the claims against Okada are components of a smear operation to harm him and his relatives.

Global portrays Okada as a pioneering leader who co-established the organization with several other gaming enterprises, including Global Amusement Corporation (GAC).

This declaration endeavors to dispel the uncertainty surrounding Okada’s apprehension, emphasizing that no official charges have been filed against him. They reiterate that Hong Kong’s apprehension processes diverge from other locations.

The organization suggests that Okada and his family are casualties of untrue and harmful allegations made by GAC and its directors.

Global highlights that GAC promptly remarked on the apprehension of its former chairman, asserting that the accusations against Okada are unfounded and intended to sully his reputation.

The friction between Global and GAC has been brewing since June 2017 when Okada was removed from Global’s board following an internal inquiry into his utilization of company finances.

Okada has previously encountered difficulties, confronting significant allegations including deception and false testimony in the Philippines.
