Crown Resorts Mandates Vaccinations for All Staff and Visitors at Australian Properties

The Crown Resorts company is mandating immunizations for all individuals at its properties in a bid to curb the transmission of the coronavirus.

This declaration from the Australian gaming corporation follows a period of discussions with personnel, labor union delegates, and industry and commercial organizations. It will be compulsory for all staff members and visitors at its sites in New South Wales and Victoria to be inoculated.

The new regulation takes effect promptly at Crown Sydney and Crown Melbourne, which were already adhering to regional health directives. Crown Perth will implement the protocol by the 31st of January, 2022, aligning with the varying degrees of coronavirus infection rates nationwide.

“Perth is presently experiencing a near COVID-free environment, and with governmental policies still under development, our consultations there are not as progressed. We will be concluding our strategy shortly, but our objective is to attain uniformity across all our resorts,” stated Steve McCann, the Chief Executive Officer of Crown Resorts.

“Throughout this global health crisis, we have pledged to our workforce that their health and welfare would always be paramount. This policy aligns with that promise and reflects our duty to safeguard our employees, clientele, associates, and the broader community.”

Crown initially proposed the concept of obligatory vaccinations for its staff and patrons in September.

Upon McDonald’s revealing of benefits for workers to receive the vaccine, the response was overwhelmingly positive. The public recognizes our collective responsibility in conquering this pandemic, with each individual playing a part. The corporation stressed its dedication to assisting the public, particularly following the disastrous effects of COVID-19.
