Buzz Bingo CEO Chris Matthews to Step Down

Chris Matthews, the head honcho at Buzz Bingo, is preparing to exit his position.

Earlier today, Buzz Bingo declared that Matthews, their Chief Executive Officer, intends to vacate his role as the year concludes.

Matthews has experienced a prosperous tenure at Buzz Bingo. He spearheaded the company’s name change and guided them through the challenging period of the COVID-19 health crisis.

Commenting on his exit, Matthews stated, “This was not a simple choice, particularly when you possess as much fondness for Buzz as I do. Nevertheless, with the enterprise back in the black after the COVID closures and the online platform gaining momentum, I believe the moment is opportune to pass the baton to a capable leader like Dominic.”

Assuming the mantle of CEO is Dominic Mansour, the present Chief Operating Officer. He mentioned, “It has been an honor to collaborate with Chris since I joined Buzz Bingo in January 2021. I’ve acquired a great deal from him regarding expanding and cultivating this legendary brand. The company has a promising future, and I’m excited to be working with our exceptional executive team and our dedicated staff to achieve further accomplishments.”

Sharing his perspective on these transitions, John Kelly OBE, Buzz Bingo’s Chairman, expressed, “Chris has done an outstanding job of steering the business through a shift in ownership, a two-year pandemic closure, and the reorganization of the company’s real estate holdings. Under his astute direction, the Buzz brand was established, and buzzbingo.com came into existence.”

This arrangement benefits all parties involved. We appreciate Chris’s guidance and extend our best wishes for his upcoming pursuits.”
