Michael Rumbolz to Lead US Gaming Association as New Chief

The United States Gaming Association (USGA) has selected Michael Rumbolz as their incoming chief. Rumbolz, a seasoned expert in the gaming sector, will succeed Jim Allen in January 2024. He’ll embark on a two-year tenure, steering the USGA’s initiatives on critical matters such as ethical gaming practices and tackling illicit gambling activities.

Rumbolz’s notable background encompasses executive positions at Everi, a gaming tech firm, along with expertise within Nevada’s gaming oversight framework. Bill Miller, the USGA’s President and CEO, conveyed his trust in Rumbolz, emphasizing his distinct credentials and capacity to propel advancements for the sector.

Miller conveyed that Jim’s knowledge, foresight, and guidance have been essential in furthering the American Gaming Association’s objectives and amplifying their influence on the sector. He voiced appreciation for the chance to collaborate with Jim, characterizing him as a reliable counselor.

Throughout Jim Allen’s term, the gaming sector has been endeavoring to rebound from the pandemic’s consequences while also contending with the surge of illicit wagering, a pattern observed globally.

In his parting words, Allen communicated satisfaction in the industry and the association’s present robustness. He emphasized the accomplishments attained in the preceding two years, notably in hastening the industry’s resurgence and setting fresh aims. Allen expressed faith in Mike and Bill’s capacity to steer the American Gaming Association towards an even brighter future.
