William Zender to Leave Galaxy Gaming Board After Seven Years

William Zender, a longstanding presence on the Galaxy Gaming Board of Directors, will vacate his seat effective July 1st.

With a tenure dating back to 2015, Zender’s exit marks the culmination of over seven years of dedication to Galaxy Gaming, resulting in a reduction of the board’s size.

His role will officially become open in slightly more than two months, leaving Mark Lipparelli, Bryan W. Waters, Cheryl Kondra, and Michael Gavin Isaacs as the four remaining board members of Galaxy Gaming.

However, as stipulated in their collaborative arrangement with Tice Brown, Galaxy Gaming has consented to establish a search group composed of two board members and one autonomous shareholder.

The organization indicated that the objective of this group is to “locate qualified individuals and present a unified suggestion to the Board for selection to occupy the vacancy resulting from William Zender’s resignation.”

Upon identification of a suitable successor, they will be designated to the Board of Directors at Galaxy Gaming’s 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders to fulfill the remaining duration of the uncompleted term.

Galaxy Gaming Chairman, Lipparelli, expressed his sincere gratitude to Zender, remarking: “William Zender is a legend in the casino table game sector.”

“He has furnished invaluable guidance to us and the company throughout his tenure exceeding seven years as a board member.”

William has played a key role in propelling our organization’s pursuit of fresh opportunities, resulting in several remarkable advancements recently.

We are deeply appreciative of his foresight and knowledge, and we extend our best wishes for success in his upcoming pursuits.”
