The Dutch regulatory body has issued its 21st online gambling permit.

At present, there is limited information accessible concerning Smart Gaming, which is registered in the Dutch town of Almere.

The KSA stated it will publish the internet addresses the company will utilize once they are established, but Smart Gaming has not yet provided the internet addresses it intends to employ.

The firm is the 21st operator to be authorized to function in the Dutch online gambling marketplace. It follows closely behind the ComeOn Group, which declared last week that it will launch its flagship brand ComeOn in the Netherlands after receiving a permit.

Also last week, the KSA initiated a gambling harm prevention research project developed by the health organization ZonMw in The Hague. It stated the program aims to gather new knowledge about preventing and treating gambling addiction and gambling-related harm, with the objective of translating it into new treatment measures.

The regulatory body has also recently taken steps to suppress unlicensed online gambling. Earlier this month, it ordered two distinct operators – Betworld247 and Sons of Slots – to exit the Dutch market or pay weekly penalties.
