## Gaming Giant GiG Expands Operations to the Emerald Isle
Gaming provider and affiliate company Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has announced it is expanding its partnership with News Corp UK & Ireland Limited, bringing its services to the Irish market.
As part of the expanded agreement, the Irish Sun website now features a dedicated betting section.
This partnership initially launched in the United Kingdom in December 2022. GiG stated that the deal has already produced substantial income for the company.
In a joint statement, GiG and News Corp UK & Ireland said the partnership aims to enter the American market by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
**Recent Developments at GiG**
Earlier this month, GiG announced a strategic review that would see its subsidiary Innovation Labs Ltd. distributed to shareholders.
If the separation is successful, it would result in the business being divided into two separate publicly traded companies.
Last month, GiG completed the purchase of casino affiliate websites AskGamblers.com, Johnslots.com, Newcasinos.com, and other smaller domains from Catena Media Plc.
At the time, GiG CEO Richard Brown said, “This acquisition further broadens our geographical reach and increases revenue diversification both geographically and customer-wise, thereby reducing overall operational risk.”
