The online gaming firm, Betano, has become the primary sponsor of Sporting CP, a Portuguese soccer team. This agreement will span two seasons, with an option to extend for an additional two years.
Betano’s emblem will be displayed prominently on the front of the team’s uniforms. Betano has been active in Portugal since 2019. They also provide sponsorship to other clubs, including SC Braga and CS Maritimo in Portugal, PAOK and Olympiacos in Greece, Apollon Limassol and Pafos in Cyprus, and Universitatea Craiova and FCSB in Romania.
Betano is under the ownership of Kaizen Investment and operates in Brazil, Germany, Romania, Greece, and Cyprus. OPAP, a company controlled by Sazka, holds a 36.75% stake in Betano.
