GLHF.gg Organizes Esports Contest to Support Mental Health Organization Mind

GLHF.gg, a well-known esports platform, is organizing a unique contest to bring attention to and collect funds for Mind, a mental health organization.

The contest will continue throughout July, with a total prize pool of €5,000 (£4,472/$5,653) being given to Mind. This money will come directly from GLHF.gg, but will be given in the name of the groups that finish in the top three spots.

Fans who take part in the contest will also receive awards, and all participating groups’ fans will get personalized messages of gratitude on social media.

Oscar Holm, Esports Director at GLHF.gg, stated, “We established GLHF.gg to assist groups and their players. There is still much to be done regarding mental health in the high-pressure world of esports.”

Ace St., COO of GLHF.gg, added that the contest is a fantastic way to give back to the community and raise awareness about the significance of mental health.

Our objective is to enhance understanding through interactive entertainment, Gerlman stated. Esports enthusiasts are motivated by the urge to contend and triumph, and to witness their favored teams prevail.

We envision that by employing constructive rivalry, we can contribute to the ongoing discourse surrounding mental well-being in esports, rather than it solely becoming a prominent theme when players take a hiatus.

In the fourth month of this year, GLHF.gg established a business-to-business alliance with Scout Gaming Group, under which Scout presently provides its complimentary platform, encompassing games such as Dota, eFootball, League of Legends, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
